How do you connect a wireless router to a network manually?

If it helps, the router i have is a linksys wrt54g v.3. I can't connect it using a flash drive because the router doesn't have a USB port. How do you connect a wireless router to a network manually?
Assuming you already have an Internet connection (wireless routers aren't themselves wireless), you disconnect the cable from your computer to the modem and plug it into the router. Another cable then goes from the router to where the other end of the original cable went.

In other words, the router gets connected between your modem and your computer(s).

Hope that helps. How do you connect a wireless router to a network manually?
Wait, you're trying to connect it to an existing network? I don't thing you can...

ROUTERS simply broadcast an internet signal from your modem/broadband box over an area wierlessly. Normally, you just connect the ethernet cable from the modem out t othe router's ';internet'; port.
