How do I set up a wireless router without being the host computer?

I have just gotten a Wii and need to set up the wireless router from my computer. The problem is my computer is not the computer who runs the modem and ethernet router. Is their a way I could set up my wireless router from my computer? How do I set up a wireless router without being the host computer?
Well, A router does not use a ';HOST'; computer. It is a stand alone network device and there is no HOST for it!

So if you are authorized you can change it from ANY machine connected to it.

Most routers have a web interface at one of the following addresses.. just type them into your web browser to connect

http://192.168.0.1

http://192.168.1.1

http://192.168.1.254

http://192.168.10.1

If you tell us the BRAND and Model of the router we can help.. without that you need to READ THE MANUAL which came with the router! How do I set up a wireless router without being the host computer?
even wireless router needs a cable when you connect it to your pc and another pc it will automatically detect an connection even not installing the software. like dlink DI-524 very easy to use.
