Did you connect the router to modem?
You probably already know this, but just in case because you didn't specify..
Your internet cable (From the wall, or wherever) must be connected to the modem, which must be connected to the router, which must connect to each of the PCs on the network via cable or wireless.
If that is correct, try re-setting the router (take a toothpick or some such and hold it into the reset button on the router, the really tiny kind. You must hold the button in for at least 30 seconds until the router lights start blinking.)
If this does not work, open up any web browser and in the address bar try typing in ';192.168.1.1'; (or, if that doesnt work, ';192.168.1.2';, without the quotes) and press enter. If it goes through to your router set-up, see if there's an option to set up the router.
If nothing works, call a tech support guy or return the router for a new one and see if that works.How do you get a Linksys range plus wireless router to connect to the internet?

And/or, use the CD that came with it, and let the software thereon auto-configure it for you.
If you don't have a manual, it's on the Linksys web site as a PDF file. The software that's normally on the CD may also be downloadable in a .ZIP file or something.
One of the things you'll want to hunt-down in the manual is how to RESET the router back to factory specs. Once you've done that, the truth is that most routers just start working when you plug them in, without much configuration.
Beyond that, there's far too much to resolving this sort of problem than it's possible for ANYONE to provide here.
