How do I set up my wireless router to work with Bittorrent?

I understand that to achieve decent up/down speeds, I need to configure my router's ports somehow. I've successfully set up my router, so at least I know *that much* but getting ';up to speed'; with torrents is confusing me. Thanks!How do I set up my wireless router to work with Bittorrent?

If you are using the program BitTorrent, then you should select uTorrent as the program as BitTorrent is now a clone of uTorrent.
